Professionalism, responsibility and composure in situations where every detail matters.
Protocol, etiquette and public representation are both my profession and a long-standing interest. I believe in the power of professional representation grounded in respect, knowledge, precision and personal responsibility. It matters to me that institutions and individuals present themselves with dignity, clarity and authenticity.
Until 2023, I worked at the Office of the President of the Republic at Prague Castle, serving as Director of the Protocol Department from 2018 to 2023. The role required complete concentration, discretion, rapid decision-making and responsibility for events in which there was no room for error. My work included preparing ceremonial acts, visits, journeys, protocol programmes and flag displays, as well as coordinating with the armed forces, police, protective service and the highest authorities in the Czech Republic and abroad.
After leaving the Office of the President of the Republic, I worked at the Czech National Bank, initially as Senior Expert in Organisation and Protocol, then as Director of the Office Division and later in the Administration Division until April 2026. In these roles, I focused on team leadership and on coordinating specialist agendas, external relations, communications, legal matters, organisation and support for the institution’s senior management.
My work is based on decency, fair dealing, professionalism and the willingness to accept responsibility. I consider not only specialist knowledge important, but also personal reliability, resilience under pressure, the ability to remain calm and to deal with people directly, constructively and respectfully.
I hold a security clearance issued by the National Security Authority and, during my career, have also undergone several psychological assessments for demanding and senior positions. I regard these experiences as part of professional credibility and responsibility. It is important to me that colleagues can rely on me even in sensitive, complex or time-critical situations.
I have also maintained a long-standing interest in vexillology and phaleristics: flags, banners, standards, orders, medals, state decorations and the rules governing their use. State decorations were among the areas for which I was responsible at the Office of the President of the Republic. I do not regard the correct treatment of state symbols, orders and decorations as a minor detail. It is an expression of respect for our history, institutions, state and the people we represent.
